How it works…
You join with a partner as a team in a doubles division by level: intermediate, high intermediate, or advanced. Teams will have the opportunity to play a minimum of 7 matches in their division over 6 weeks June 16- July 27 (“regular season”).
Each match will be best of 5 games. Games will be to 11, with a win by 2. Players are responsible for scheduling their own matches at a time and location of their convenience (i.e., around your work/vacation schedule on a mutually agreeable court). We recommend signing up with a partner who has similar availability to you.
Subs are allowed if needed, although a sub can not play in the play-offs.
Each match won is worth 3 points. Each loss is worth 1 point. If a match is not played, neither team will be awarded a point for the match. The more matches you play the more points you get; win or lose!
The top-ranked teams in each division & level will go on to the playoffs. Playoffs will be held at the end of the regular season on August 2nd (location and time TBA).
All matches will be recorded in DUPR. Don’t know what DUPR is, find out here.
